Back in the UK

For now at least anyway. Had a great flight back - free upgrade to business class. Huge seats, fully reclining, the flight was nowhere near full, so I got the whole row to myself. Champagne before take-off, mixed grill breakfast, given a free mini-travel kit with blindfold, earplugs, and personal hygiene kit.

Got back to the office to return my kit, only to be given another job out to Istanbul on Thursday. Then Friday, it's back to the normal work....weekend night shifts. We've got a Uni student doing his TSing - it's his last three shifts with us this weekend. He's done very well, and both Barry and I are very pleased with his progress.

I'm tired and falling asleep in front of the computer......my bed awaits.

I'm only working days when I would normally do overtime at work...but it's really easy work, and you get paid for flying round the world

'repatriation work'...am wondering if you mean this is as in Home Office deportation of failed asylum seekers, or insurance company repatriation of foreign nationals who've had accidents/ injuries in the uk?

just curious.

well, you deserve a free upgrade! It doesn't seem fair that all the posh snobs get upgraded, when you have done far more than just invent a toaster that can also cook bagels! and got £££££ from it!
*hmm sounds a bit wierd!*
anyway...
