You realise posts like this make people really curious as to what the offending comments contained?
Actually, there seems to be one left pertaining to, er, the name for a male chicken. Was that it? Not terribly original or exciting if it was!

The comment you mention is tame compared to what was there.
Oh dear. No doubt it was from one of our callers. They certainly know some colourful language!
Suggest in future you just delete without the "threat". In my experience, threatening to prevent access to all provides an extra goal for the deviants rather than preventing them.

One of the things that I use, apart from word verification is a piece of code on my template from here. It puts a icon with Spam Poison on, and it somehow keeps spam comments away.
